Jeremiah 12:12-14

¹² On all the ^[a](A)bare heights in the wilderness
Destroyers have come,
For the ^(B)sword of the Lord is devouring
From one end of the land even to the ^[b]other;
There is ^(C)no peace for ^[c]anyone.
¹³ They have ^(D)sown wheat but have harvested thorns,
They have ^(E)strained themselves ^[d]to no profit.
So be ashamed of your ^(F)produce
Because of the ^(G)fierce anger of the Lord.”
